New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals 10/20/22 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The week seven NFL schedule will kickoff with a Thursday night battle between the New Orleans Saints and the Arizona Cardinals from State Farm Stadium. The Saints (2-4) are off to a disappointing start for first-year head coach Dennis Allen and are surrendering 26.3 points per game. On Sunday, New Orleans was burned for a 60-yard touchdown pass in the final two minutes of a 30-26 home loss versus Cincinnati.

WR Tre’Quan Smith put New Orleans on the scoreboard first on an 18-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton. Alvin Kamara added 99 rushing yards on 19 carries for the Saints.

The Arizona Cardinals have dropped consecutive games and rank in the bottom third of the league in scoring offense (19.0 ppg). On Sunday, Arizona failed to score an offensive touchdown during a 19-9 road loss against Seattle. The Cardinals (2-4) converted just 4 of 14 on third down and allowed the Seahawks to rush for 5.1 yards per carry.

Chris Banjo scored the only touchdown for Arizona on a fumble recovery in the end zone. QB Kyler Murray threw for 222 yards and added a team-high 100 rushing yards for the Cardinals.

Arizona WR Marquise Brown will miss the next six weeks with a fractured foot and WR De’Andre Hopkins (suspension) will be activated. The Cardinals have been a mess on offense and will not be able to get things fixed on a short week. Take New Orleans to win on the road. Final Score Prediction, New Orleans Saints win 24-19.
