The week 14 NFL regular season will kick off with a Thursday night matchup between the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers from Acrisure Stadium. On Sunday, New England failed to enter the red zone during a 6-0 home loss versus the Los Angeles Chargers. 

Bailey Zappe started at QB in place of an ineffective Mac Jones and finished with 141 passing yards. New England running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Rhamondre Stevenson combined for 91 rushing yards on 26 carries. Stevenson lost a fumble and the Patriots allowed five sacks. 

The Pittsburgh Steelers were outgained in their first ten games and somehow have managed to stay in the AFC Playoff Picture for head coach Mike Tomlin. The Steelers fired OC Matt Canada after that dreadful stretch and are looking to boost an offense that is scoring 16 points per game. On Sunday, Pittsburgh allowed Arizona to convert 10 of 17 third downs during a disappointing 24-10 home loss. 

Pittsburgh trailed by 21 points midway through the fourth quarter and finally found the end zone on a two-yard pass from Mitchell Trubisky to Diontae Johnson. George Pickens added a team-high 86 receiving yards for the Steelers, who were flagged nine times for 77 yards.
