Los Angeles Rams - 2022 NFL Season Preview and Wins Total Prediction

The Los Angeles Rams come into the 2022 season primed and set to defend their Super Bowl title. Matt Stafford will be in year two in Los Angeles after a successful year one saw Los Angeles win their first title in over a decade. Stafford has a host of weapons around him, and head coach Sean McVay will continue to coach outside of the box as Los Angeles looks to again make a deep postseason run.

Despite being older Matthew Stafford is still an elite quarterback with a great arm. Stafford shined in year 1 in Los Angeles with one of the best group of receivers and talent around him. Cam Akers will be running back number one for the Los Angeles offense this season and is expected to carry the load for Los Angeles on the ground as well as make an impact in the passing game.

Cooper Kupp signed a contract extension in the offseason after winning the Triple Crown last season as the number one receiver on the Los Angeles roster. Kupp will again be the primary target for Matthew Stafford this season as Kupp looks to repeat on his success from a year ago. Allen Robinson and Van Jefferson are expected to have big years this season, while tight end Tyler Higbee will make an impact as well.

Los Angeles has an elite offense coming into 2022 but the Rams are ranked number 2 defensively in the preseason and will rely on that side of the ball for their success this season. Aaron Donald is possibly the best defender in the NFL and will wreak havoc all of 2022 up front for Los Angeles. Los Angeles did lose 2 time super bowl champion Von Miller but signed Bobby Wagner to cover the middle of the field in the Los Angeles defense.
