Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos 10/17/21 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The Las Vegas Raiders visit Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado on Sunday to play the Denver Broncos. Las Vegas dropped to 3-2 following a 20-9 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The Raiders could never get their offense going against a tough Bears defense, gaining only 259 yards. Derek Carr passed for 269 yards with one interception and running back Josh Jacobs rushed for only 48 yards and one touchdown.

Derek Carr has passed for 1,605 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions. The Raiders signal-caller has been sacked 15 times. Peyton Barber is the leading rusher with 143 yards and one touchdown, while the leading receiver is Henry Ruggs III with 348 yards and one touchdown reception. On defense, linebacker Denzel Perryman has a team-high 60 tackles and lineman Solomon Thomas is the leader in quarterback sacks with 2.5.

Denver is 3-2 following a 27-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. The Broncos have a knack of falling behind and have trailed by double digits in each of their two losses. Denver quarterback Teddy Bridgewater passed for 288 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. The Denver defense gave up 391 yards of total offense to Pittsburgh and the Broncos gained 374 yards of total offense.

Teddy Bridgewater has passed for 1,180 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception. The Broncos signal-caller has been sacked 11 times. Melvin Gordon III is the leading rusher with 282 yards and two touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Courtland Sutton with 377 yards and one touchdown reception. Linebacker Alexander Johnson and safety Kareem Jackson each have 28 tackles to lead Denver. Linebacker Von Miller is the leader in quarterback sacks with 4.5.

Las Vegas will bounce back with a strong effort on the road Sunday against the Denver Broncos. The Raiders have covered the number in six of the last seven meetings against the Broncos. Las Vegas will find its offense, which is currently scoring an average of only 22.6 points per game and will use a tough defense to limit Denver’s scoring opportunities, by taking away the run and forcing Teddy Bridgewater to beat them. Final Score Prediction, Las Vegas Raiders win and cover ATS 24-21.
