Las Vegas Raiders 2022-23 - NFL Schedule

The Las Vegas Raiders were 10-7 last season and finished second in the AFC West. Las Vegas was 3-3 in division play, 5-4 at home and 5-3 on the road. Las Vegas reached the postseason and was defeated by the Cincinnati Bengals 26-19 in the wildcard round. Josh McDaniels, who is arguably one of football's most talented offensive coordinators, is the new Las Vegas head coach.

Derek Carr will return as the starting quarterback for Las Vegas and the passing game was given a big boost during the offseason when the Raiders signed former Green Bay Packers star Davante Adams. Last season Carr passed for 4,804 yards, with 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

The Raiders also have wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, who last season caught 103 passes for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns. Tight end Darren Waller did not have a big year last year but had two consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons prior to 2021. Josh Jacobs returns as the leading rusher and last season rushed for 872 yards with nine touchdowns.

Las Vegas will play a 4-3 defense. The Raiders improved their defense during the offseason when signing former Arizona Cardinals defensive end Chandler Jones, who has 107.5 career sacks. Jones and Maxx Crosby give Las Vegas a pair of highly talented pass-rushers at defensive end.

Johnathan Hankins and Bilal Nichols will be the starting defensive tackles. The linebacker corps will be led in the middle by Jayon Brown, with Denzel Perryman and Divine Deablo on either side. The Raiders secondary has a talented pair of safeties in Johnathan Abram and Tre’von Moehrig, while the starting cornerbacks will be Rock Ya-Sin and Trayvon Mullen Jr.
