Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders 11/22/20 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to visit Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada for an AFC West clash against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Kansas City Chiefs come into this matchup with an 8-1 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent home game against the Carolina Panthers, 33-31. QB Patrick Mahomes had a big game through the air for Kansas City as he connected on 30 of his 45 pass attempts for 372 yards and 4 TDs. WR Tyreek Hill was one of the top targets for Mahomes and the Chiefs as he hauled in 9 catches for 113 yards and 2 TDs.

The Kansas City Chiefs struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Carolina Panthers as they allowed them to score 31 points and rack up a total of 435 yards of offense. Safety Daniel Sorensen led the way for the Kansas City defense with 10 tackles. The secondary had a productive game for the Chiefs as CB Bashaud Breeland had 7 tackles while DB Tyrann Mathieu and CB Charvarius Ward both had pass breakups.

The Las Vegas Raiders come into this matchup with a 6-3 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent home game against the Denver Broncos, 37-12. QB Derek Carr wasn’t asked to do much through the air for Las Vegas as he connected on 16 of his 25 pass attempts for 154 yards. RB Josh Jacobs had a productive game on the ground for the Raiders as he totaled 112 yards and 2 TDs on 21 carries.

The Las Vegas Raiders were solid on the defensive side of the ball against the Denver Broncos as they held them to 12 points and a total of 313 yards of offense. LB Nick Kwiatkoski led the way for the Las Vegas defense with 8 tackles and 1 interception. The secondary had a productive game for the Raiders as safety Jeff Heath had 2 interceptions while CB Trayvon Mullen had 7 tackles.

The Las Vegas Raiders were able to get the best of the Kansas City Chiefs in their 1st matchup, and they are one of the hottest teams in football, but the Kansas City Chiefs are the best team in the NFL. The Chiefs will need to sharpen up on the defensive side of the ball against the Raiders as they allowed them to score 40 points, but their offense should be rolling on all cylinders as the addition of Le’Veon Bell should only help. The Kansas City secondary allowed Derek Carr to throw all over them as he had 347 yards and 3 TDs, and I would imagine they will force him to beat them again as RB Josh Jacobs has been the centerpiece of this offense. QB Patrick Mahomes should be able to pick apart the Las Vegas secondary as they have been suspectable at times, and I think they come into this game ready to go after coming off a bye. Final Score Prediction, Kansas City Chiefs win and cover ATS 38-28.
