The New York Jets look to snap a two-game losing skid when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4 of the NFL regular season on Sunday. The Jets lost for the second straight week on Thursday night 21-17 to the Cleveland Browns. Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold threw two late interceptions and took the blame for the team’s loss to Cleveland after holding a two-touchdown lead during the second half.

While the Jaguars defense lived up to its reputation the offense played poorly in Jacksonville’s 9-6 loss on Sunday to the Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars defense allowed the Titans just 233 yards of total offense, but did give up 150 yards rushing. Jacksonville’s offense failed for the second straight game against the Titans to score an offensive touchdown. Part of the Jaguars problem on offense was not having star running back Leonard Fournette and starting linemen A.J. Cann and Cam Robinson. Jets quarterback Sam Darnold has thrown for 701 yards, three touchdowns and five interceptions. The leading rusher for the Jets is Isaiah Crowell with 171 yards and four touchdowns. New York’s leading receiver is Quincy Enunwa with 17 receptions for 212 yards and one touchdown. On defense, the Jets leading tackler is Doug Middleton with 23 while Jordan Jenkins is the sacks leader with 2.0.

Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles has thrown for 707 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. The leading rusher this season is T.J. Yeldon with 153 yards. Jacksonville’s leading receiver is Keelan Cole with 15 receptions for 201 yards and one touchdown. On defense, the Titans leading tackler is Telvin Smith with 23 while Calais Campbell is the sacks leader with 3.0.

Injuries have taken a toll on the Jaguars offense, making a mediocre unit poor. With Leonard Fournette and two starting lineman all questionable, opposing defenses are forcing quarterback Blake Bortles to beat them and it did not happen against the Titans. Jaguars sacks leader Calais Campbell injured his ankle and is questionable for Sunday’s game. Sam Darnold may make rookie mistakes, but will keep this game close and the Jets will cover. Final Score Prediction, Jacksonville Jaguars win but come up short ATS 20-17.
