Jets at Giants 8/8/19 - NFL Preseason Picks & Predictions

The battle for New York happens on the gridiron this week. The Jets are heading to face the Giants, but it is going to be a great game, even with both teams needing to evaluate who is going to make the roster. What else can make it interesting is just how poorly the Giants finished the year last season, but now are looking to bounce back in what could be a very interesting game. The Jets, though, have Darnold and Bell to form a dynamic duo in the backfield this year.

As mentioned the Jets have Sam Darnold to guide the team at quarterback this year. Le’Von Bell is the running back that can easily guide the Jets. The big question for the Jets will be how well the line holds up to block as Osmele is coming back from injury. The other big question for the Jets is how Quinnen Williams transitions from college to pro. The Giants are hoping to get rid of the lame duck status for Manning, but it could be very difficult for the Giants and Manning to shed that image. What else does not help the Giants is the fact that they have Golden Tate as the only big name player in the receivers spot. That definitely will not help Daniel Jones in developing behind Manning this year. Defensively the Giants did not make much in the way of changes on the horizon and actually have developed their talent that is going to make it easy for the team to control the Jets offense.
