AFC South Division rivals will clash on Sunday afternoon, when the Jacksonville Jaguars visit NRG Stadium to tackle the Houston Texans.
The Jaguars have lost ten games and were unable to replicate the formula that allowed them to reach the AFC Championship Game a season ago. On Sunday, Blake Bortles sparked Jacksonville to a 17-7 victory at Miami. The Jaguars defense limited the Dolphins to 183 yards on the afternoon.
Through fifteen games, Jacksonville ranks 27th in total offense and is scoring a pedestrian 16.1 points on average. Houston has plenty of talent on a defense that ranks 18th in yards allowed and surrenders 20.9 points per contest.
The Houston Texans started off the season on a three-game skid, but have rallied to win ten games and clinch the AFC South Division title. On Sunday, Houston was unable to stop Philadelphia on the final drive of a 32-30 road defeat. The Texans rallied from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to claim a one-point lead, but allowed a 35-yard field goal as time expired. Houston was gashed for 519 yards of total offense on the afternoon.
For the season, Houston ranks 15th in total offense and is scoring 25.5 points per game. Jacksonville has taken a small step back on a defense that ranks fifth in yards allowed and gives up 19.7 points per contest.
