The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to visit RingCentral Coliseum in Oakland, California for an AFC clash against the Oakland Raiders. The Jacksonville Jaguars come into this matchup with a 4-9 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Los Angeles Chargers, 45-10. QB Gardner Minshew II had a solid game through the air as he connected on 24 of his 37 pass attempts for 162 yards and a TD. WR DJ Chark Jr. was the top target for Minshew and the Jaguars as he hauled in 9 catches for 75 yards.

The Jacksonville Jaguars struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Los Angeles Chargers as they allowed them to score 45 points and rack up a total of 525 yards of offense. LB Donald Payne led the way for the Jacksonville defense with 15 tackles. The secondary had a productive outing for the Jaguars as safety Jarrod Wilson contributed 5 tackles and 1 pass deflection while CB A.J. Bouye pitched in 1 pass deflection.

The Oakland Raiders come into this matchup with a 6-7 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Tennessee Titans, 42-21. QB Derek Carr had a big game through the air as he connected on 25 of his 34 pass attempts for 262 yards and 2 TDs. TE Darren Waller was the top target for Carr and the Raiders as he hauled in 6 catches for 72 yards. RB DeAndre Washington had a productive game on the ground for the Raiders as he ran for 53 yards and a TD.

The Oakland Raiders struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Tennessee Titans as they allowed them to score 35 points and rack up a total of 552 yards of offense. LB Tahir Whitehead led the way for the Oakland defense with 11 tackles. The secondary had a productive outing for the Raiders as CB Daryl Worley pitched in 8 tackles and 1 pass deflection while safety Erik Harris contributed 7 tackles.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have really struggled as of recent as they have dropped 5 consecutive games, and they are forced to travel all the way across the country against a hungry Oakland team. The Raiders have suffered back-to-back blowout losses, but it was against playoff teams, and I expect them to unload on a Jacksonville team that has been awful on defense. The Raiders should have their star RB back in Josh Jacobs (1067 yards, 11 TDs) as the rookie sat out against the Titans, but he also helps Derek Carr and the air attack as it keeps the defense honest. The Jaguars are very thin at the LB position as they lost two starters in the last week, and I expect TE Darren Waller to expose whatever mismatch the Jaguars defense throws at him. Jacksonville is a mess and this won’t be the game that they figure it out. Final Score Prediction, Oakland Raiders win and cover ATS 31-17.
