Jaguars at Dolphins 8/22/19 - NFL Preseason Picks & Prediction

The Miami Dolphins head back home on Thursday for week 3 of preseason action as they will host the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Dolphins lost in Tampa Bay last Friday 16-14. Miami played quarterback Josh Rosen the most in the loss. Rosen went 10/18 with 102 yards. Rosen was sacked three times and had no touchdowns or interceptions. 

The Dolphins are expect to start Ryan Fitzpatrick with the starters in week 3 at home. Fitzpatrick has had limited playing time this preseason and has not shown much. Fitzpatrick threw the ball just 5 times in week 1 and went 3/9 last week while being sacked one time. Miami has been a banged up team thus far but are glad to get back starters back on the practice field. 

The Jacksonville Jaguars head to Miami on Thursday looking for their first win of the preseason. The Jaguars were blown out 29-0 in Baltimore week 1 and lost at home 24-10 to the Eagles last week. Jacksonville has not yet played their new starting QB Nick Foles yet this preseason. 

Gardner Minshew has been getting most of the reps for at the quarterback position for the Jaguars. Minshew went 7/14 in week 1 and 19/29 last week against Philadelphia. Minshew has yet to throw a touchdown or an interception but has been sacked 4 times. Minshew will see most of the snap again in week 3.
