The Jacksonville Jaguars will visit MetLife stadium in East Rutherford, NJ for a match up against the New York Jets in week 16. Jacksonville comes into week 16 as the worst team in the league with only two wins through the 1st 14 games riding a six game losing streak after a 14 point loss to the Houston Texans. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence was mediocre against Houston completing 22 of 38 passes for 210 yards, while running the ball five times for 21 more yards on the ground. James O'Shaughnessy was  the primary target in the Jacksonville passing game with 60 yards on four catches.

Defensively Jacksonville was abysmal against Houston as the Texans ran up 281 yards of offense and scored points in every quarter leading to the two touchdown loss. Andrew Wingard led the Jacksonville defense with nine total tackles in the game.  Myles Jack chipped in six tackles, while Shaquill Griffin and Roy Robertson-Harris added five tackles apiece.

The New York Jets limp back home in week 16 with a 3-11 record on the year after losing four of the last five games played including three in a row following a seven point loss on the road to the Miami Dolphins. Defensively New York struggled against Miami giving up 379 total yards of offense and 31 points including 21 in the second half to blow a seven point halftime lead.

Quarterback Zach Wilson orchestrated the New York offense completing only 13 of 23 passes for 170 yards but failed to find the end zone. The New York rushing attack carried the way for the Jets compiling 102 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. Tevin Coleman led all ball carriers with 50 yards on 8 carries. Zach Wilson ran the ball four times for 12 yards and one touchdown, while Braxton Berrios picked up 10 yards and one score on two carries.

Both teams have been awful this year but the Jaguars are in shambles and will continue to fall against the Jets. Jacksonville has the worst record in the league and will continue to tank to get the #1 overall pick again in next years draft. Look for the Jaguars to throw in the towel on the season giving the edge to New York at home leading to the 4th win of the year for the Jets. Final Score Prediction, New York Jets win and cover 21-10.
