Jacksonville Jaguars at LA Chargers 10/25/20 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to visit SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California for a Week 7 clash against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Jacksonville Jaguars come into this matchup with a 1-5 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Detroit Lions, 34-16. QB Gardner Minshew II had a solid game through the air for Jacksonville as he threw for 243 yards, 1 TD, and 1 interception while also adding in a rushing TD. WR Keelan Cole was the top target for Minshew and the Jaguars as he hauled in 6 catches for 143 yards.

The Jacksonville Jaguars struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Detroit Lions as they allowed them to score 34 points and a total of 403 yards of offense. LB Joe Schobert led the way for the Jacksonville defense with 10 tackles and 1 interception. The secondary had a productive game for the Jaguars as Josh Jones and C.J. Henderson combined for 15 tackles.

The Los Angeles Chargers come into this matchup with a 1-4 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the New Orleans Saints, 30-27 in OT. QB Justin Herbert had a big game through the air for the Chargers as he threw for 264 yards and 4 TDs. WR Mike Williams was the top target for Herbert and Los Angeles as he hauled in 5 catches for 109 yards and 2 TDs.

The Los Angeles Chargers struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the New Orleans Saints as they allowed them to score 30 points and rack up a total of 408 yards of offense. LB Kyzir White led the way for the Los Angeles defense with 15 tackles and 1 TFL. The secondary had a productive game for the Chargers as Rayshawn Jenkins had 9 tackles while Nasir Adderley had an interception.

The Los Angeles Chargers have been very impressed with their rookie QB as Justin Herbert has thrown for 1195 yards, 9 TDs, and 3 interceptions thus far, and he should have no problem carving up one of the worst defenses in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars were unable to get James Robinson going against Detroit as he only compiled 29 rushing yards, and I think Los Angeles tries to scheme themselves similar as they want Gardner Minshew to try and make a mistake. Los Angeles will need to find a solution at RB with Joshua Kelly and Justin Jackson, but I feel as their passing attack is becoming very good as they shredded the Saints defense. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Chargers win and cover ATS 31-21.
