Jacksonville Jaguars 2022-23 - NFL Schedule

Jacksonville was 3-14 and finished last in the AFC South last season. The Jaguars were 1-5 in division play, 3-6 at home and 0-8 on the road. During the offseason, Jacksonville acquired wide receiver Christian Kirk, tight end Euan Engram and guard Brandon Scherff to help second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence’s offense. Last season, Lawrence passed for 3,641 yards with 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions last season. 

Jacksonville will have Travis Etienne Jr as the starting running back. The second-year player out of Clemson missed all of his rookie season due to a Lisfranc injury. James Robinson will back up Etienne and last season rushed for 767 yards and eight touchdowns to lead the Jaguars. Marvin Jones Jr. is the top receiver for Jacksonville returning from last season and had 832 yards receiving and four touchdown receptions.

Jacksonville added to its defense in the NFL draft by taking edge rusher Travon Walker from Georgia and linebacker Devin Lloyd from Utah. Jacksonville’s 3-4 defense will be led by ends Roy Robertson-Harris and Folorunso Fatukasi while DeVon Hamilton will start as the nose guard. The linebackers will include rookie Lloyd and Foyesade Oluokun in the middle with Josh Allen and rookie Walker on the outside. Rayshawn Jenkins and Andrew Wingard will be the starting safeties Darious Williams and Shaquill Griffin will be the starting cornerbacks
