Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills 8/13/22 - NFL Preseason Picks & Predictions

The Indianapolis Colts come into the 2022 season with a much different look than that of the 9-8 team that missed the playoffs a year ago. Matt Ryan is the new quarterback for Indianapolis and will lead the way for the Colts in 2022. Matt Ryan is a veteran quarterback who is a former league MVP that will make an immediate difference in the Indianapolis offense. Running back Jonathan Taylor will be a focal point for the Indianapolis offense after accumulating more than 1800 yards rushing a year ago.

Ryan and Taylor will likely be limited in this game if they see the field at all. With Ryan on the sideline quarterbacks Sam Ehlinger and Nick Foles will see most of the reps as they compete to be the backup for Indianapolis. Nyheim Hines and Deon Jackson will do much of the same as they compete to be a key piece in the Indianapolis ground attack this year.

The Buffalo Bills come into this season as the favorites to win the Super bowl after falling just short in the playoffs in overtime a year ago. Josh Allen threw for over 4,400 yards and 36 scores a year ago and will look to repeat those numbers as he is also a favorite for the MVP. Stefon Diggs will again be the primary target in the Buffalo passing attack after a 1,200+ yard season so Diggs bring in 10 scores as well.

To go along with an elite offense Buffalo has the preseason #1 ranked defense and will dominate teams all year. Buffalo has boosted their defensive unit with the addition of two time Super Bowl champion Von Miller to lead the way. Buffalo has a deep and talented roster on defense that will prove to be an issue and a dominating force for all of 2022.
