Giants at Patriots 10/10/19 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The week six NFL schedule will get underway with a Thursday night clash between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots from Gillette Stadium. The Giants have lost three of their first five games, but are just a game off the pace in the NFC East. On Sunday, rookie QB Daniel Jones struggled to get the New York offense moving during a 28-10 home loss versus Minnesota.

The Giants were outgained by an eye-popping 490-211 margin and committed one turnover on the day. Darius Slayton caught four passes for 62 yards and scored the only touchdown for the Giants.

The New England Patriots are the only 5-0 team in the league and have outscored their opponents by a combined 121 points. On Sunday, New England trailed for the first time all season during a 33-7 road triumph against Washington. The Patriots allowed a 65-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, but only gave up 220 yards of total offense on the afternoon.

Veteran QB Tom Brady completed 28 of his 42 passing attempts for 348 yards and three touchdowns. Sony Michel added 91 yards and a touchdown on the ground for the Patriots.

New York RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) is unlikely to suit up for this contest and a week seven return seems more realistic. Rookie quarterbacks have always struggled against Bill Belichick led teams and Thursday night will be no different. Final Score Prediction, New England Patriots win and cover ATS 34-10.
