The New York Giants visit AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to play the Dallas Cowboys in a Week 2 NFC East showdown on Sunday Night Football.

The Giants were defeated in Week 1 by the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-15. While the Giants lost the opener, the future of the franchise Saquon Barkley showed why the team drafted the Penn State running back No. 2 in the draft with a 66-yard touchdown run. Odell Beckham Jr. returned and caught 11 passes for 111 yards in the loss.

Dallas lost its opener as well falling to the Carolina Panthers 16-8. The Cowboys were hurt by the running of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and a Carolina defense that dominated the Dallas offensive line. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott was sacked six times and lost a fumble late in the game. The Cowboys offense generated just 232 total yards, with Prescott passing for just 170 yards and Ezekiel Elliott rushing for only 69 yards and one touchdown. Giants quarterback Eli Manning has 224 yards passing and one interception. Saquon Barkley leads the Giants in rushing with 106 yards and one touchdown, while the leading receiver is Odell Beckham Jr. with 11 receptions for 111 yards. Janoris Jenkins leads the Giants in tackles with seven, while Kerry Wynn and Kareem Martin are the sacks leaders with 0.5 apiece.

Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott has 170 yards passing. The leading rusher for the Cowboys is Ezekiel Elliott with 69 yards and one touchdown. Cole Beasley is the leading receiver with 7 receptions for 73 yards. Kavon Frazier is the leading tackler with 8, while Demarcus Lawrence, Maliek Collins and Jaylon Smith are the co-leaders in sacks with 1.0 apiece.

The Giants will face another tough defense in the Cowboys, while the Dallas offense should be able to produce more against a Giants defense that is not as good as Carolina. The Dallas passing game must step up against the Giants. Dallas has passed for less than 200 yards in seven of its last nine games and needs to make opposing defenses at least play the pass and not pile up eight to 10 players on the line of scrimmage to stop Ezekiel Elliott. Dallas prevails here against a still work in progress Giants offense. Final Score Prediction, Dallas Cowboys win and cover but like the under best 21-17.
