The Atlanta Falcons head to Miami to take on the Dolphins for their second preseason game. The Falcons lost at home in the Hall of Fame game against the Broncos 14-10. Quarterback Drew Lock had the most pass attempts with 11. Lock went 7/11 and was sacked twice. QB Brett Rypien threw Atlanta's only passing touchdown.

The Atlanta Falcons look for a better campaign this season as they went 7-9 last year. Dan Quinn remain the head coach for his 5th season. Quinn heads into 2019 with a 36-28 record as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. The Miami Dolphins look to improve on a 7-9 seaosn last year. Miami opens their first preseason game as a three point home favorite. The Dolphins will showcase a true quarterback competition with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh Rosen.

Adam Gase remains on the sidelines as they Miami Dolphins head coach. Gase will be in his fourth season as the Dolphins head coach with the chance to go above .500 in the win/loss column. Gase carries a 23-25 record with the Dolphins.

The favorite has controlled this series in recent history covering the spread in four of the last five meetings. The Dolphins has two quarterbacks seeking a starting job which means we should see some good play on their offensive unit. The Atlanta Falcons do have one game under their belt but now have to travel. Keep backing the home field trend in this one. Final Score Prediction, Miami Dolphins win and cover ATS 24-17.
