The Atlanta Falcons are set to visit Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana for a cross-conference clash against the Indianapolis Colts. The Atlanta Falcons come into this matchup with a 1-1 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent home game against the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-20. QB Matt Ryan had a shaky game for the Atlanta Falcons as he was able to throw for 320 yards and 3 TDs, but he also had 3 interceptions. WRs Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley had big games for the Falcons as they combine for 211 yards and 3 TDs.

The Atlanta Falcons were fairly solid on the defensive side of the ball against the Philadelphia Eagles as they held them to 20 points and a total of 286 yards of offense while also forcing 3 turnovers. Keanu Neal had a big game from the secondary for the Atlanta Falcons as he racked up a team-high 9 tackles. Joining Neal in the secondary is veteran cornerback Desmond Trufant who was able to haul in 2 interceptions and 3 pass deflections.

The Indianapolis Colts come into this matchup with a 1-1 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent road game against the Tennessee Titans, 19-17. QB Jacoby Brissett had a big game for the Indianapolis Colts as he connected on 17 of his 28 pass attempts for 146 yards, 3 TDs, and 1 interception. RB Jordan Wilkins was able to find some success on the ground for the Colts as he ran for 82 yards on 5 carries.

The Indianapolis Colts were solid on the defensive side of the ball against the Tennessee Titans as they held them to 17 points and a total of 242 yards on offense. LB Darius Leonard was able to have a big game for the Indianapolis Colts as he racked up 10 tackles and a sack. Denico Autry was able to get into the Titans backfield a handful of times as he was able to contribute 3 TFL and 2 sacks. The Colts were able to rack up 6.5 TFL and 4 sacks against the Titans.

The Atlanta Falcons got a much-needed win against the Philadelphia Eagles as they flashed signs of their super bowl season where they had a dangerous offense and a stingy defense. QB Matt Ryan will need to drastically improve his mistakes if he wants to make the Falcons a contender, but he has the playmakers in Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley. The Colts have started to build a good defense, but their secondary doesn’t have the talent to runs with the dynamic duo. The Colts are still trying to find their identity under Jacoby Brissett, and I think they will once again be searching for answers. Final Score Prediction, Atlanta Falcons win and cover ATS 28-24.
