The Falcons have lost nine games and have been eliminated from postseason contention. On Sunday, Atlanta extended Carolina’s losing streak to seven with a 24-10 road triumph. Matt Ryan threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns for the Falcons, who forced four turnovers on the day.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost ten games and are in need of a coaching change. On Sunday, head coach Dirk Koetter took the blame for not calling a time-out that led to a crucial delay of game penalty during a 27-20 loss at Dallas. Mike Evans caught six passes for 90 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort for the Buccaneers.

For the season, Tampa Bay ranks third in the league in total offense and is scoring 24.3 points per game. Atlanta has dealt with plenty of injuries on a defense that ranks 26th in yards allowed and gives up 26.1 points per contest.

Tampa Bay TE O.J. Howard has been placed on injured reserve with foot and ankle injuries. The Buccaneers have plenty of talent on the offensive side of the ball, but continue to shoot themselves in the foot with costly mistakes. The Falcons knocked the Panthers out of the playoffs last weekend and will not be up for this meaningless contest. Final Score Prediction, Tampa Bay Buccaneers win and cover ATS 27-23.
