The Miami Dolphins visit New Era Field in Buffalo, New York for an AFC East clash against the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins fell to 0-5 on the season following a 17-16 loss to the Washington Redskins. Miami trailed 17-3 to start the fourth quarter and benched Josh Rosen in favor of Ryan Fitzpatrick. The veteran quarterback rallied the Fins to 17-16, but Kenyan Drake dropped a pass in the flat on a two-point conversion with six seconds remaining ending Miami’s hopes of winning.

Buffalo had a bye during Week 6 and defeated the Tennessee Titans 14-7 in Week 5 before entering its bye. Josh Allen threw a pair of touchdown passes in the win over Tennessee in a battle of two tough defenses. Allen passed for 219 yards, two TDs and one interception, while the Bills defense held Tennessee to just 252 total yards and improved to 4-1 on the season. 

Josh Rosen has thrown for 567 yards, one touchdown and five interceptions. Kenyan Drake leads all rushers for Miami with 153 yards. The leading receiver for Miami is Preston Williams with 232 yards and one touchdown, while Devante Parker 229 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Jerome Baker leads the Miami defense in tackles with 33.

Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen has thrown for 1,122 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions. Frank Gore has rushed for 333 yards and two touchdowns while John Brown has 390 yards and one touchdown to lead all receivers. Tremaine Edmunds is the leading tackler for Buffalo with 35.

Miami came up just short of winning its first game against Washington, but will be facing one of the NFL’s top defenses on the road when they face Buffalo on Sunday.
