Kansas City has had a week off and seems to be getting into playoff form. The Chiefs now lead the AFC West by one game, just in time for arch-rival Denver to come to town. The Broncos and the rest of the division are close behind.

Denver is 6-5 and has now won three of its last four after a four-game skid. Denver's defense got the win Sunday with two interceptions; one was a pick-six. Kansas City (7-4) has now won four in a row before last weekend's bye. In its last game, Kansas City's defense was strong, holding the Cowboys to nine points.

Even with some early-season struggles, Patrick Mahome is still second in the league with 3200 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. He also had 11 interceptions. Tyreek Hill has 932 yards receiving and Travis Kelce has 821. The running game should get a boost as Clyde Edwards-Helaire is back from injury and still leads the team with 367 yards. Darrell Williams did well in his absence, with 358 yards.

Denver's Terry Bridgewater has passed for 2389 yards, 14 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Melvin Gordon has 522 yards rushing with five touchdowns. Javonte Williams has 522 yards rushing, including 111 against the Cowboys in a win a few weeks ago. Courtland Sutton has 612 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

The Chiefs won the last time these teams played, 22-16, with Mahomes passing for 310 yards.

Kansas City has won the last 11 games between these teams. The Broncos' last win against the Chiefs was in 2015 in Kansas City. Mahomes is 8-0 against Denver.

Mahomes has controlled the Broncos in the past and he has more weapons now at his disposal. Not to mention the Chiefs are coming off of their bye week and that will help the Chiefs be fully prepared for the game here. However, the Broncos are going to try to throw a wrench in the plans, but the offense for the Chiefs will simply be too much for the Broncos to keep up with. Final Score Prediction, Kansas City Chiefs win and cover 45-24.
