Denver Broncos at Cleveland Browns 10/21/21 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The week seven NFL schedule will kickoff with a Thursday night matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns from FirstEnergy Stadium. The Broncos (3-3) are looking to snap a three-game skid and rank fourth in the league in total defense (314.7 ypg). On Sunday, Denver turned the ball over four times during a 34-24 home loss versus Oakland.

Denver QB Teddy Bridgewater entered the game with one turnover on the season, but threw for three interceptions and three touchdowns. TE Noah Fant caught nine passes for 97 yards and found the end zone once for the Broncos.

The Cleveland Browns have dropped consecutive games and rank second in the league in total defense (307.7 ypg). On Sunday, Cleveland turned the ball over three times and failed to score during the second half of a 37-14 home loss versus Arizona. The Browns (3-3) were outgained 352-290 and allowed the Cardinals to convert 8-for-15 on third down.

Cleveland WR Donovan Peoples-Jones hauled in four passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Kareen Hunt rushed for 66 yards on 14 carries in a losing effort for the Browns.

Cleveland RB Karen Hunt suffered a calf injury during last week’s loss and is unlikely to play in this game. The Broncos defense is good enough to keep them in the game on the road and they are my lean on the side. The stronger play is on the under. Final Score Prediction, Cleveland Browns win 20-17.
