MetLife Stadium will play host to a Monday night NFL clash between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. The Cowboys (1-1) are playing without injured QB Dak Prescott and are leaning on a stingy defense that ranks sixth in yards allowed (300.5 ypg). On Sunday, Dallas built a 14-point halftime lead and sacked Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow six times during a 20-17 home victory.

Cooper Rush started in place of Prescott, throwing for 235 yards and a nine-yard touchdown strike to Noah Brown. Brett Maher’s second field goal of 50 plus yards won it for the Cowboys (1-1) as time expired.

The New York Giants are off to a 2-0 start for rookie head coach Brian Daboll are allowing 18 points per game. On Sunday, New York forced two turnovers and possessed the ball during a 19-16 home victory versus Carolina. Graham Gano booted four field goals for the Giants, including the 56-yard game winner with less than four minutes remaining.

New York’s only touchdown tied the game in the third quarter on a 16-yard pass from Daniel Jones to Daniel Bellinger. Saquon Barkley continued his impressive start to the season with 88 yards from scrimmage.

New York rookie DE Kayvon Thibodeaux (knee) has not played in the first two games and is listed as questionable for this game. The Giants are improved but the Cowboys’ defense will be the difference. Take Dallas to win on the road. Final Score Prediction, Dallas Cowboys win 23-17.
