The Dallas Cowboys are set to visit Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii for a preseason clash against the Los Angeles Rams. The Dallas Cowboys come into this matchup with a 0-1 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their first preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers, 17-9. Cooper Rush received most of the QB snaps for the Dallas Cowboys, and he had a fairly solid game as he connected on 16 of his 26 attempts for a total of 142 yards. Devin Smith proved to be the top target in this game for the Dallas Cowboys as he racked up 54 receiving yards.

The Dallas Cowboys were solid on the defensive side of the ball as they held the San Francisco 49ers to only 2 TDs as well as forced a few turnovers. George Iloka led the way for the Dallas Cowboys with a team-high 5 tackles. Luke Gifford and Donovan Wilson were good in coverage for the Dallas Cowboys as they pitched in an interception each. Jalen Jelks was the lone Dallas Cowboy to contribute a sack in this game. The Los Angeles Rams come into this matchup with a 0-1 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their first preseason game against the Oakland Raiders, 14-3. John Wolford had the best game out of the 3 Rams QBs as he connected on 6 of his 8 passing attempts for a total of 54 yards. Khadarel Hodge was the top Los Angeles WR as the 2nd year pro contributed 3 receptions for a total of 48 yards.

The Los Angeles Rams were solid on the defensive side of the ball as the held the Oakland Raiders to only 2 TDs, and they had a few unsung heroes step up in this game. Troy Reeder led the way for the Los Angeles Rams with a team-high 8 tackles while Landis Durham pitched in 7 tackles and 1 sack. Steven Parker and Kevin Patterson had a good game in the secondary for the Los Angeles Rams as they each had an interception.

Both of these teams struggled on the offensive side of the ball in their first preseason game, but I have more optimism for the Rams offense in this game as they have some solid QB options and an offensive guru as their head coach. John Wolford has continued to impress in his time as an NFL QB, and Blake Bortles looked improved in his short stint in the first preseason game. The Rams will once again have these two QBs battle it out which isn’t a bad thing as both are very talented. The Dallas Cowboys have employed a rookie battle at the RB spot, and all three of them struggled in their first NFL action. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Rams win, but grab the points 21-14.
