The Dallas Cowboys are set to visit Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan for an NFC clash against the Detroit Lions. The Dallas Cowboys come into this matchup with a 5-4 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Minnesota Vikings, 28-24. QB Dak Prescott had a big game through the air for Dallas as he connected on 28 of his 46 pass attempts for 397 yards, 3 TDs, and 1 interception. WR Amari Cooper was the top target for Prescott and the Cowboys as he hauled in 11 catches for 147 yards and a TD.

The Dallas Cowboys struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Minnesota Vikings as they allowed them to score 28 points and rack up a total of 364 yards of offense. The LBs had big outings for the Dallas defense as Jaylen Smith and Leighton Vander Esch combined for 26 tackles. DE DeMarcus Lawrence was able to get into the Minnesota backfield a handful of times as he contributed 8 tackles and 2 TFL.

The Detroit Lions come into this matchup with a 3-5-1 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Chicago Bears, 20-13. QB Jeff Driskel had a solid game through the air for Detroit as he connected on 27 of his 46 pass attempts for 269 yards, 1 TD, and 1 interception. WR Marvin Jones Jr. was the top target for Driskel and the Lions as he hauled in 5 catches for 77 yards.

The Detroit Lions were solid on the defensive side of the ball against the Chicago Bears as they held them to 20 points and a total of 226 yards of offense. LB Jarrad Davis led the way for the Detroit defense with 8 tackles. The Lions were able to get into the Chicago backfield a handful of times as DE Trey Flowers contributed 7 tackles, 2 TFL, and 1 sack while safety Tavon Wilson pitched in 7 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 sack.

The road team has dominated the number between the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions as they have covered the spread in 4 of their last 5 meetings. The health of Matt Stafford is still in the air, but even if he plays, I still like the Dallas Cowboys in this spot. Dallas has one of the best offenses in the NFL as Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper have formed one of the best duos in the NFL while Ezekiel Elliot is tearing up defenses. Detroit is also down to their 3rd-string RB which will allow the Dallas defense to key in on the Lions pass game, and they have the pass rush with DeMarcus Lawrence and Jaylen Smith to cause problems. I expect Ezekiel Elliot to have a much better game as he was held to 47 rushing yards against the Vikings, and he will help control the clock for a slight Cowboys road win. Final Score Prediction, Dallas Cowboys win and cover ATS 28-20.
