The Cleveland Browns are set to visit Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for an AFC Wild Card clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cleveland Browns come into this matchup with a 11-5 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, 24-22. QB Baker Mayfield wasn’t asked to do much through the air as he connected on 17 of his 27 pass attempts for 196 yards and a TD. RB Nick Chubb carries most of the load for the Browns as he compiled 108 yards and a TD on 14 carries.

The Cleveland Browns had a decent game on the defensive side of the court against the Pittsburgh Steelers as they held them to 22 points and a total of 394 yards of offense. LB Jacob Phillips led the way for the Cleveland defense with 10 tackles and a TFL. The secondary had a productive outing for the Browns as CB M.J. Stewart Jr. hauled in the lone interception of the game while safety Karl Joseph pitched in 7 tackles.

The Pittsburgh Steelers come into this matchup with a 12-4 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Cleveland Browns, 24-22. QB Mason Rudolph had a solid outing for the Steelers as he threw for 315 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 interception. WR Chase Claypool was the top target for Rudolph and the Steelers as he hauled in 5 catches for 101 yards and a TD.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were solid on the defensive side of the ball against the Cleveland Browns as they held them to 24 points and a total of 358 yards of offense. LB Alex Highsmith led the way for the Pittsburgh defense with 9 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 sack. The Steelers were able to get into the Cleveland backfield a handful of times as LB Jayrone Elliot had 2 TFLs and 1 sack while DE Stephon Tuitt had a TFL and a sack.

The Pittsburgh Steelers played their backups in the season finale while the Cleveland Browns used all their resources to secure a playoff spot, and the Steelers still only lost by 2 points. The Pittsburgh Steelers are very impressive on the defensive side of the ball as they are holding their opponents to an average of 19.5 PPG which ranks 3rd in the NFL, and defense wins championships. The Browns defense has been banged up all season, but the Pittsburgh offense clicked in the 2nd half against the Indianapolis Colts during week 16, and I expect their Hall of Fame QB in Ben Roethlisberger to feel more comfortable than Baker Mayfield who is playing in his 1st playoff game. Final Score Prediction, Pittsburgh Steelers win and cover ATS 28-17.
