Cleveland Browns - 2022 NFL Season Preview and Wins Total Prediction

The Cleveland Browns come into the 2022 NFL season with the Baker Mayfield error seemingly behind them. Deshaun Watson is now the quarterback number one and if his off-field issues are handled will take the snaps all season for Cleveland. With Watson under center Cleveland adds a huge new weapon to their already loaded offense.

Deshaun Watson is one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL and is now on the best team he has ever played for. Watson will have a host of weapons around him led by running back Nick Chubb. Chubb is expected to rush for well over 1000 yards this season as well as be a key piece in the passing game.

Kareem Hunt is listed as running back number 2 on the Cleveland roster but can play multiple positions in order to help the team. Amari Cooper is receiver number one for a loaded Cleveland roster as he will be the number one target for the new QB. Donovan Peoples-Jones will see his numbers balloon this season, while tight end David Njoku will continue to shine as he grows into a prime NFL player.

On the defensive side of the ball Cleveland will find success as Myles Garrett will continue to lead the way from upfront as an elite pass rusher. Cleveland will lean on two first round draft picks defensively, while Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is expected to step into a bigger role this year as well.
