Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts 10/18/20 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The Cincinnati Bengals are set to visit Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana for an AFC clash against the Indianapolis Colts. The Cincinnati Bengals come into this matchup with a 1-3-1 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Baltimore Ravens, 27-3. Rookie QB Joe Burrow struggled to get much going through the air for the Bengals as he connected on 19 of his 30 pass attempts for 183 yards and 1 interception. RB Joe Mixon was unable to find much running room on the Baltimore defense as he only ran for 59 yards on 24 carries.

The Cincinnati Bengals struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Baltimore Ravens as they allowed them to score 27 points and rack up a total of 332 yards of offense. LB Josh Bynes led the way for the Cincinnati defense with 8 tackles. DB Jessie Bates III had a productive game from the secondary as he had 7 tackles with 2 passes defended while LB Logan Wilson hauled in an interception.

The Indianapolis Colts come into this matchup with a 3-2 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Cleveland Browns, 32-23. QB Phillip Rivers struggled to get much going through the air for Indianapolis as he connected on 21 of his 33 pass attempts for 243 yards and 2 interceptions. RB Jonathan Taylor had a solid game on the ground for the Colts as he ran for 57 yards and a TD on 12 carries.

The Indianapolis Colts struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Cleveland Browns as they allowed them to score 32 points and rack up a total of 385 yards of offense. LB Bobby Okereke led the way for the Indianapolis defense with 10 tackles and 1 interception. Joining Okereke at LB was Anthony Walker who also had a productive game with 7 tackles, 1 TFL, and an interception.

The Cincinnati Bengals have been impressed with their rookie QB as Joe Burrow is putting points on the board and moving the ball, and he will once again get a chance to shine against an Indianapolis team who was unable to stop Cleveland. Joe Burrow has an abundance of weapons surrounding him as Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and Joe Mixon have continued to shred defenses. The Bengals defense hasn’t been good by any means, but Phillip Rivers has been everything short of impressive as he has thrown just as many interceptions as TDs this year. Cincinnati will look to establish the ground game with Joe Mixon, and I think they do enough to keep the Colts within this number. Final Score Prediction, Indianapolis Colts win but fail to cover ATS 28-24.
