Last Updated: 09/17/2020 at 9:23 PM ET

The week two NFL schedule will kickoff with a Thursday night matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns from FirstEnergy Stadium. On Sunday, Cincinnati K Randy Bullock missed a 31-yard field goal in the last few seconds during a 16-13 home loss versus the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bengals were outgained by a 362-295 margin and turned the ball over twice in defeat.

Number one overall draft pick Joe Burrow threw for 193 yards and ran for a 23-yard touchdown in his NFL debut. Joe Mixon rushed for 69 yards and lost a fumble in a losing effort for the Bengals.

The Cleveland Browns have lost 16th straight season openers and will be looking forward to playing on a short week. On Sunday, rookie head coach Kevin Stefanski and Cleveland were overmatched during a 38-6 road loss against Baltimore. The Browns turned the ball over three times and committed eight penalties for 80 yards on the afternoon.

Cleveland QB Baker Mayfield threw for 189 yards and a touchdown, while finishing with a subpar 65.0 QBR. TE David Njoku hauled in three passes for 50 yards and a score for the Browns.

Cleveland TE David Njoku (knee) has been placed on injured reserve and will not be eligible to return until week five. The Bengals were extremely competitive in Burrow’s debut and the Browns do not deserve to be favored by this many points. Take Cincinnati to keep things close on Thursday. Final Score Prediction, Cleveland Browns win but fall short ATS 23-20.
