On Thursday, the Kansas City Chiefs visit Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado to play an AFC West showdown against the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football. The Chiefs lost their second straight after falling to the Houston Texans 31-24. Patrick Mahomes was not 100% due to a bad ankle but threw for 273 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Tyreek Hill returned to action and caught two touchdown passes in the loss.
Denver improved to 2-4 on the season with a 16-0 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The Broncos defense came up big holding the Titans to just 204 yards of total offense thanks to three interceptions and seven quarterback sacks. Denver has not allowed a touchdown in the last nine quarters. Denver’s Philip Lindsay scored the game’s only touchdown in the third quarter.

Joe Flacco leads the Broncos in passing with 1,435 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. The leading rusher for the Broncos is Phillip Lindsay with 397 yards and four touchdowns. Courtland Sutton leads Denver in receiving with 477 yards and three touchdowns. Justin Simmons leads Denver in tackles with 30.
