Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings 1/9/22 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The Chicago Bears visit US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Sunday to play the Minnesota Vikings in the final game of the regular season for both. Chicago improved to 6-10 following its 29-3 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday. Chicago's Robert Quinn set a new quarterback sacks record for the Bears with his 18th on Sunday. Chicago's defense held New York to 151 yards of total offense and forced four turnovers by the Giants.

Andy Dalton has passed for 1,190 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. David Montgomery is the leading rusher with 777 yards and seven touchdowns while the leading receiver is Darnell Mooney with 929 yards and four touchdown receptions. On defense, Roquan Smith is the leading tackler with 157 and Robert Quinn is the leader in quarterback sacks with 18.

Minnesota fell to 7-9 and was eliminated from playoff contention following a 37-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Minnesota's Sean Mannion passed for 189 yards with one touchdown, but the Vikings defense gave up 481 yards of total offense to Green Bay.  Minnesota was held to only 206 yards of total offense by the Packers defense.

Kirk Cousins has passed for 3,971 yards with 30 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Dalvin Cook is the leading rusher with 1,080 yards and six touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Justin Jefferson with 1,509 yards and nine touchdown receptions. On defense, Eric Kendricks is the leading tackler with 143 and DJ Wonnum is the leader in quarterback sacks with 6.5.

This NFC North matchup features two squads that have been eliminated from playoff contention and each will likely have their starting quarterbacks sidelined. The play here is UNDER. The UNDER has cashed in 14 of the last 20 meetings between the two. Chicago is coming off a game in which the Bears held the New York Giants to three points and 151 yards of total offense.
