The Bears have won five of their first six games and lead Green Bay by a half-game for first place in the NFC North Division. On Sunday, Chicago limited Carolina to six points through the first three quarters of a 23-16 road victory. The Bears’ defense forced three turnovers on the day.

Chicago QB Nick Foles was an efficient 23 for 39 passing for 198 yards and a touchdown. Second year RB David Montgomery contributed 58 rushing yards on 19 carries for the Bears.

The Los Angeles Rams have won four of their first six contests for head coach Sean McVay and trail Seattle by 1.5 games for the top spot in the NFC West Division. On Sunday night, Los Angeles trailed by 15 points at halftime of a 24-16 road loss against San Francisco. The Rams were outgained by a 390-311 margin and turned the ball over once in defeat.

Los Angeles QB Jared Goff was a pedestrian 19-for-38 passing for 198 yards and two touchdowns. Darrell Henderson Jr. added 88 yards rushing on 14 carries in a losing effort for the Rams.
