Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers 9/18/22 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The Chicago Bears carry an undefeated 1-0 record in two Green Bay, WI for a week two game against the Green Bay Packers. Chicago opened the season with a 19-10 home win over the heavily favored San Francisco 49ers. Offensively Chicago started the game slow totaling only 240 yards but scored all 19 points including twelve in the fourth quarter to pick up the victory. Justin Fields showed flashes of greatness completing 8 of 17 passes for 121 yards and two scores while running the ball 11 times for 28 yards as well. Dante Pettis led all Chicago receivers with 51 yards and one touchdown on one catch and David Montgomery chipped in 24 yards on three catches as well.

The Green Bay Packers will play their first home game of the year in week two following a disappointing 16 point loss in week one to the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay was abused on the defensive side of the ball allowing the Vikings to total 395 yards including 269 through the air to score 23 points in the game including 17 in the first half.

Offensively Green Bay had one of their worst games in recent memory despite totaling 338 yards Green Bay turned the ball over twice and failed to score in three out of four quarters. Aaron Rodgers struggled completing only 22 of 34 passes for 195 yards and no touchdowns. AJ Dillon seemed to be the biggest weapon in the Green Bay offense with 45 yards and one score on 10 carries, while leading Green Bay with 46 yards on five receptions as well.
