Chargers at Raiders 11/7/19 - NFL Picks & Predictions

The week ten NFL schedule will kickoff with a matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Oakland Raiders from RingCentral Coliseum. The injury-plagued Chargers have battled have lost five of their nine games, but are just a half-game behind the Raiders for the final playoff spot in the AFC. On Sunday, Los Angeles shutout Green Bay during the first half of a 27-11 home victory. 

Los Angeles RB Melvin Gordon rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns. The Chargers outgained the Packers by a 442-184 margin and did not allow a touchdown until six minutes to go in the game.

The Oakland Raiders have split their first eight games for second year head coach Jon Gruden and are just 1.5 games behind AFC West leading Kansas City. On Sunday, Derek Carr threw a late touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow to lift Oakland to a 31-24 home victory versus Detroit. Karl Joseph broke up a fourth down pass in the end zone with three seconds left to preserve the win.

Oakland QB Derek Carr completed 20 of his 31 passing attempts for 289 yards and two touchdowns. Rookie RB Josh Jacobs gained 120 yards on the ground and found the end zone twice for the Raiders.
