The Carolina Panthers limp into the final game of the season with a 5-11 record overall writing a six game losing streak after an 8 point road loss to New Orleans to start the new year. The Carolina Panthers offense was nonexistent against New Orleans scoring 10 points on 178 total yards of offense.

Quarterback Sam darnold completed 17 of 26 passes for 132 yards and no touchdowns. Chuba Hubbard led the way for Carolina on the ground with 55 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries. Ian Thomas added 33 yards on three receptions, while Ameer Abdullah chipped in 31 yards on four catches.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers come into the final week of the season on fire with twelve wins through 16 games following a four point comeback win against the New York Jets. Defensively Tampa Bay struggled against New York allowing the Jets to score 24 points on 374 total yards but shut New York out in the fourth quarter leading to the late victory.

Tom Brady completed a 68% of his passes for 410 yards and three scores leading to the win. Tight end Rob Gronkowski led all Tampa Bay receivers with 115 yards on 7 catches and Cyril Evans added 81 yards and the game winning touchdown on six catches. Mike Evans added 47 yards and a score on four receptions as well.

The Bucs are in the playoffs and now it is just a matter of seeding. Look for the Bucs to still play with purpose in this game in an effort to play a weaker opponent to open the playoffs. Carolina is checked out and are just ready to end the year. Take Tampa Bay to roll to close the year getting the easy win and cover. Final Score Prediction, Tampa Bay wins and covers 35-10.
