Two teams in search of their first win will clash on Sunday afternoon, when the Arizona Cardinals visit the Cincinnati Bengals. The Cardinals tied their first game versus Detroit and have lost three straight games. On Sunday, Arizona fell behind by 17 points at halftime and never recovered during the second half of a 27-10 home loss versus Seattle. Rookie QB Kyler Murray had a pass intercepted for a touchdown in the first quarter.
Arizona RB David Johnson caught eight passes for 99 yards and added another 40 yards rushing. The Cardinals were outgained by a 340-321 margin and managed just 26 minutes of possession.
The Cincinnati Bengals are one of four teams in the NFL to lose their first four games and seem to lack an identity under rookie head coach Zac Taylor. On Monday night, Cincinnati’s offensive line was overmatched during a 27-3 road loss against Pittsburgh. The Bengals managed just 175 yards of total offense and allowed eight sacks in defeat.
Cincinnati RB Joe Mixon fought for every one of his 62 yards on 15 rushing attempts. Andy Dalton finished 21-of-37 for 171 yards and a dismal 57.4 QBR.
