In the first game of a Thanksgiving holiday NFL tripleheader, the Buffalo Bills will invade Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions. The Bills (7-3) are tied with Miami atop the AFC East Division standings and rank second in the league in total offense at 417 yards per game. On Sunday, Buffalo scored 19 unanswered points to earn a 31-23 home victory versus Cleveland. The Bills averaged 5.2 yards per carry and pushed their lead to 16 points in the second half.

Buffalo trailed 10-3 early in the second quarter, but took a three-point lead into halftime on a five-yard touchdown reception by Stefon Diggs. Devin Singletary contributed 86 rushing yards and found the end zone for the Bills.

The Detroit Lions have won three straight games and must improve on a defense that is surrendering a league worst 28.2 points per contest. On Sunday, Detroit built an 11-point halftime lead and cruised to a 31-18 road victory against the New York Giants. The Lions (4-6) rushed for 160 yards in 37 attempts and took advantage of three turnovers.

Detroit took a 24-6 lead entering early in the third quarter on RB Jamaal Williams’ third rushing touchdown of the day. D’Andre Swift added a four-yard touchdown run to give the Lions a 31-12 lead with 6:10 remaining. Detroit WR Amon Ra St. Brown contributed a team-high seven catches for 76 yards.

Detroit rookie WR Jameson Williams (knee) has been designated to return from injured reserve and the team has 21 days to activate him. The Bills rank second in the league in scoring offense and the Lions rank eighth in that category. Look for Buffalo to win a game that goes over the total. Final Score Prediction, Buffalo Bills win 34-27.
