The Baltimore Ravens visit the Washington Football Team on Saturday for the final game of the 2021 NFL preseason for both. Baltimore has opened the preseason with a 2-0 record following a 20-3 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Saturday. Baltimore tied an NFL record with its 19th consecutive straight up victory in the preseason and the Ravens have gone 17-1-1 ATS over that same period.
Ravens starting quarterback Lamar Jackson is expected to see plenty of action on Saturday after not playing against Carolina on Saturday. Baltimore's Ty’Son Williams and Nate McCrary each rushed for touchdowns while Tyler Hundley passed for 187 yards in the Ravens win. Baltimore had only five regulars start the game on offense with top receivers Marquise Brown and Sammy Watkins sitting out.
Washington is 1-1 in the preseason following a 17-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday. Jaret Patterson, a rookie running back out of Buffalo, scored in the fourth quarter to put Washington ahead for good. Anderson rushed for 71 yards and had three receptions for 24 yards as well as a kickoff return of 37 yards. Washington also scored on free field goals by Dustin Hopkins.
Washington's defense did not face Cincinnati starting quarterback Joe Burrow who was held out by the Bengals. Washington starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick played the first four series and is expected to play at least the first half on Saturday against the Ravens. Washington's defense led by defensive ends Chase Young and Montez Sweat is expected to have its starters on the field for a large portion of Saturday’s final preseason game.
