Baltimore Ravens at New Orleans Saints 11/7/22 - NFL Picks & Predictions

Caesars Superdome will play host to a Monday night NFL clash between the Baltimore Ravens and the New Orleans Saints. The Ravens (5-3) are sitting atop the AFC North Division standings and acquired the league’s top tackler LB Roquan Smith in a trade with Chicago. On Thursday, Baltimore rolled up 453 yards of total offense during a 27-22 road victory against Tampa Bay. The Ravens averaged seven yards per rush and possessed the ball for more than 38 minutes.

Rookie TE Isaiah Likely stepped up after Mark Andrews left with an injury to catch six balls for 77 yards and a touchdown. Lamar Jackson completed 27 of 38 passes for 238 yards and two scores. Gus Edwards returned from injury to rush for a team-high 65 yards.

The New Orleans Saints have taken a step back this season, but remain just one game behind NFC South Division leading Atlanta. The Saints (3-5) rank in the top ten in rushing and passing offense, while scoring a shade below 25 points per contest. On Sunday, New Orleans limited Las Vegas to 183 yard of total offense during a 24-0 home victory. The Saints converted 7 of 12 third down attempts and averaged 5.8 yards per play.

New Orleans dynamic RB Alvin Kamara gained 158 yards from scrimmage and found the end zone three times. Veteran QB Andy Dalton completed 22 of 30 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns. Taysom Hill contributed 61 rushing yards on ten carries for the Saints.

Baltimore TE Mark Andrews was forced to leave Thursday’s victory with a shoulder injury and is listed as questionable for this game. The Saints rank in the middle of the pack in stopping the run so the Ravens should be able to move the ball. I like New Orleans to win at home in a game that goes over the total. Final Score Prediction, New Orleans Saints win 28-27.
