Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys 10/19/20 - NFL Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 10/19/2020 at 9:48 PM ET

In Monday Night NFL football action, the Arizona Cardinals will invade AT&T Stadium to take on the Dallas Cowboys. The Cardinals have won three of their first five games for second year head coach Kliff Kingsbury and own a plus 26 point differential. On Sunday, Arizona built a 14-point halftime lead and cruised to a 30-10 road triumph against the New York Jets. The Cardinals rolled up 495 yards of total offense on the afternoon.

Arizona QB Kyler Murray bounced back from two subpar outings with 380 yards passing and a touchdown. DeAndre Hopkins caught six passes for 131 yards and a score for the Cardinals.

The Dallas Cowboys have lost three of their first five games and somehow sit atop the woeful NFC East Division standings. On Sunday, Dallas QB Dak Prescott suffered a horrific ankle injury during a 37-34 home victory versus the New York Giants. The Cowboys averaged 6.3 yards per play and outgained the Giants by 102 yards.

Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliott shouldered the load on the ground with 91 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Rookie WR CeeDee Lamb contributed eight catches for 124 yards.

Arizona OLB Chandler Jones tore his biceps during the win against the Jets and is likely out for the season. The Cowboys are a mess and are surrendering a league worst 36 points per game. The Cardinals are my lean to cover, but the stronger play is on the over. Cowboys season struggles continue thanks in large part to losing QB Dak Prescott to season ending injury last week. Final Score Prediction, Arizona Cardinals win but over is the play 34-27.
