All eyes will be on Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, when the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs square off in Super Bowl LIV. The 49ers won 13 games during the regular season and owned a NFC Conference best plus 169 point differential. San Francisco ranked second in the league in rushing offense (144.1 ypg) and scoring (29.9 ppg). Dominant TE Greg Kittle caught 85 passes for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns.

In the NFC Conference Championship Game, San Francisco amassed a 27-point halftime lead and cruised to a 37-20 home victory versus Green Bay. Raheem Mostart carried the ball 29 times for 220 yards and four touchdowns for the 49ers.

The Kansas City Chiefs won 12 games during the regular season and ran away with the AFC West Division crown by five games. Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes is arguably the best player in the league and threw for over 4,000 yards to go along with 26 touchdowns. Head coach Andy Reid ranks sixth all-time with 221 wins and that represents the most by any coach who has never won a Super Bowl. The Chiefs offense does their damage through the air, ranking fifth in passing yards (281.1 ypg) and points (28.2 ppg).

In the AFC Championship Game, Kansas City’s defense limited Derrick Henry to 69 yards on the ground during a 35-24 home victory versus Tennessee. Patrick Mahomes threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns on the afternoon.

San Francisco RB Tevin Coleman (shoulder) is expected to resume practice and is listed as questionable. The Kansas City defense has improved throughout the season and will need to be at their best to slow down the dominant San Francisco ground attack. Look for Mahomes and TE Travis Kelce to be the difference in a Chiefs’ victory. Final Score Prediction, Kansas City Chiefs win 30-23.
