The San Francisco 49ers visit Mile High City to play the Denver Broncos on Monday at Broncos Stadium in Denver Colorado.

The 49ers won their opening game of the preseason over the Dallas Cowboys 17-9. The 49ers defense held the Cowboys to three field goals. Jimmy Garropolo will start on Sunday in his first game since last season’s knee injury. Nick Mullens started under center for the 49ers and finished with 105 yards passing, one touchdown and one interception during the first half. C.J. Beathard took over in the second half at quarterback.

Denver evened its preseason record at 1-1 with a 14-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Denver rallied for the win with a late interception by Trey Johnson followed by a deflected Brett Rypien pass into the end was caught by Juwann Winfree to give the Broncos the come from behind win. Denver had an eight-play drive in the first half that was capped off by a 3-yard touchdown run by Khalfani Muhammad.
C.J. Beathard leads all San Francisco quarterbacks with 141 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Nick Mullens has thrown for 105 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The leading rusher for the 49ers is Austin Walter with 38 yards, while Richie James leads all receivers with six receptions for 31 yards. Jalen Hurd has two touchdown receptions.

Drew Lock has thrown for 214 yards, one touchdown and one interception to lead all Denver quarterbacks. Starter Joe Flacco has seen limited action and has 19 yards passing. Royce Freeman leads all Broncos rushers with 49 yards, while Khalfani Muhammad is the leading receiver with 6 receptions for 34 yards and one touchdown.
