As the new NFL season looms there is a core group of young studs preparing for their rookie campaign. A late 1st round quarterback has the best odds to win the Rookie of the Year coming into the season with several talented studs behind him capable of winning the award.
Kenny Pickett (+500)
Despite being a late 1st round draft pick Pickett is by far the most NFL ready quarterback that was taken in the draft. The biggest question looming for Picket is how soon he will see the field. Pickett is expected to immediately compete for the starting job in camp giving him the best chance to win the Rookie of the Year. Whether or not Pickett wins the starting job in week 1 Pickett will eventually take the field for his shot at the award.
Drake London (+750)
Drake London has all the talent in the world and it shows with how high in the draft he was taken in this years draft. In college London accumulated 2,153 yards and 15 scores on 160 total catches in 3 years at USC. London is a big bodied strong receiver with all the intangibles to be a great NFL player. With no Calvin Ridley this season London could step into a huge roll for Atlanta. The biggest hump for London will be whether or not QB Marcus Mariota can prove to be a top tier NFL QB. London will suit up and be on the field as a primary target in week 1 making him worth a look to take home the ROY.
Treylon Burks (+750)
With the offseason moves made by the Tennessee Titans it is imminent Tennessee expects rookie receiver Treylon Burks to step into a huge role in this year's offense. Burks was dominant in his final years at old miss with nearly 100 receptions in his final season. Tennessee has the best running back in the NFL, but Ryan Tannehill will still throw the ball well over 400 times. With a receiver the caliber of Burks Tannehill will look to him early and often this season. Treylon Burks will become a primary target in the Tennessee offense at some point in this season putting him in a prime spot to win the offensive rookie of the year.
Breece Hall (+800)
Breece Hall comes into this season as one of the best young running backs in the rookie class. Hall will be relied upon heavily by his young quarterback as a safety blanket early in the season. With great Speed out of the backfield and trustworthy hands Hall will see an abundance of touches this season. Breece Hall has the potential to lead the New York Jets in rushing this season and will for sure be a big factor in the passing game for New York.
Out of the top 4 candidates on this list Treylon Burks seems to be in the best position to win rookie of the year. Burks Will be an immediate target and factor in the Tennessee offense with an elite level quarterback throwing him the ball. Burks is in a prime spot to make an immediate impact and will potentially run away with this award. Take Treylon Burks to do enough in his first year in the NFL to win offensive rookie of the year. NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Prediction, Treylon Burks.
