The best overall player in the NFL leads the way as the odds on favorite to win the MVP. Patrick Mahomes will lead a Chiefs team that fell 1 game short of a repeat in 2020. The Chiefs have weapons all around Mahomes to go along with a new line and a stout defense. Mahomes will look to carve up the league leading to another MVP for the youngster.
Aaron Rodgers spent the majority of the offseason in headlines for the wrong reasons. There is a clear riff in Green Bay which could prohibit Rodgers from defending his award. If the Packers can get passed the disruptions Rodgers has the ability and team around him to repeat as the best player in the league in 2021.
Josh Allen had a break out year in 2020 as the best player on one of the best teams in the NFL. The Bills will again be good in 2021 and will compete atop the league throughout the season. Buffalo will go as far as Allen can take them and depending on his numbers and the wins in Buffalo, Allen holds a lot of value to win the MVP.
Tom Brady is the greatest of all time and still competes at a high level. Coming off Super Bowl #7 Brady and the Bucs return in 2021 looking to repeat. Brady can still throw the ball with the best of them in the league and runs an offense unlike anyone else. Tampa Bay has the tools and pieces to again chase a ring and with Brady at the helm winning a 4th MVP has lots of value.
