2020 Odds to Win NFC - NFL Odds, Picks & Betting Predictions

The NFC will have the stronger conference overall in comparison to the AFC during the 2020 NFL regular season, The defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers are favored to win the conference at +450 and represent the NFC in Super Bowl LV. San Francisco has a suffocating defense led by defensive end Nick Bosa, while the offense is led by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and could see Deebo Samuel become one of the top receivers in the league. Overall, the 49ers are the most balanced NFC team on both sides of the ball.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the second best odds of winning the NFC at +500 after convincing future hall-of-famer Tom Brady to leave the New England Patriots after 20 seasons and sign a deal to play in Tampa. In addition, the Buccaneers convinced retired tight end Rob Gronkowski to request a trade by the Patriots and join Tampa Bay to give Brady an additional weapon. However, the Buccaneers have a few holes to fill on the defensive side of the ball and those shortcomings could hurt their chances in the postseason.

The New Orleans Saints have the third-best odds of winning the NFC at +550. Veteran quarterback Drew Brees returns for yet another season and has plenty of weapons at his disposal led by running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Michael Thomas. The Saints defense tends to bend but rarely break, but once in the playoffs could be their downfall when meeting teams with defenses that are just as good if not better.

If long shots are to your liking the Arizona Cardinals at +2800 have solid value. Arizona was able to acquire wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins from the Houston Texans and has returning veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and up-and-coming receiver Christian Kirk as three downfield weapons for quarterback Kyler Murray.  However, it's the Arizona defense that makes them a long shot in the NFC as they were among the bottom five teams in all of the NFL in passing yards and points allowed per game last season.

Other NFC teams not to be overlooked are the Dallas Cowboys at +700,  Green Bay Packers at +1100,  Philadelphia Eagles at +1100, Seattle Seahawks at +1100, Atlanta Falcons at +1500 and Chicago Bears at +2000.

Although, the San Francisco 49ers are just slight favorites ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win the NFC in all likelihood the 49ers will easily defeat any NFC opponent and reach Super Bowl LV. San Francisco’s offense is expected to be as good or better than last season when they reached the Super Bowl and the defense will be one of the NFL's best and likely No.1 in the NFC. At +450, there is solid value in taking San Francisco to win the NFC.
