Houston is one team that would like to show that they can improve quite a bit more than what they have in the past. The Texans, do have a good chance of doing that as the Texans have not been playing that horrible on the year, but also the teams in the AFC South have been playing at almost the same exact level and have not ended up going out and bringing home the wins to dominate the division.

The offense for the Texans will be led by Deshaun Watson who has been the leader for several years. However, he is starting to be questioned if he is able to make the big push and go to the next level. If he gets injured AJ McCarron could step up. The wide outs for the Texans are looking good with Brandin Cooks and Kenny Stills who could really step up in the games and start to make a difference in the games and potentially the season for the Texans.

Defensively the Texans are going to look to have J.J. Watt back this year. If he is able to play at his high level of play for the entire season it could lead to the Texans having a great defense that is able to keep the opponents offense in check for most of the year. The downside is if Watt does get injured then the Texans could end up struggling to keep the opponents in check.

Special teams for Houston could be a question mark as well for the Texans. Granted, the Texans do have a good set of players that could help out, but the Texans are also a team that could have issues as well with the field goals and flipping the field with the punts. The one player that could help out for the Texans special teams would be DeAndre Carter who could get the ball and flip the field to the positive for Houston as he is the returner for the team.
