2020 AFC West Odds - NFL Picks & Predictions

The AFC West is one division that will actually be a great division to watch this season. Not to see who will win the division as the forgone conclusion is the Chiefs are going to run away with the division. However, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the division is going to shake out and if the teams were able to improve themselves with the draft or even the free agent acquisitions.

With Denver the team did look like they were rebuilding nicely on the year, but ended up faltering and having a lot of issues. Now, the Broncos look like it has been able to find a quarterback in Drew Lock, but also have shored up their wide outs and eve the defense to help out. Look for the Broncos to be a threat over time, but it will not really make up the ground to the Chiefs right away.

The Las Vegas Raiders would like to make a big splash in their opening year for the team. However, one issue that the Raiders may have is the fact that they signed older veterans for the defensive support. The ones that really do not make sense is the way that they signed Witten after having an amazing year from their starting tight end last year in Waller.

With the Chargers the team is going to look lost and if they are unable to find a true quarterback the chances are good that the Chargers do not even come close to finishing out of the basement. With that being the case, the Chargers will need to find a quarterback, but also need to shore up their defense. Yes, the Chargers did draft a highly touted quarterback in the draft, but it could take time for him to develop into a true threat.

2020 Odds to win AFC West

  • Kansas City Chiefs -350
  • Denver Broncos +800
  • Las Vegas Raiders +800
  • Los Angeles Chargers +800

The Chiefs head into the season with a lot to defend. To make it even better the Chiefs did not lose a lot when it comes to the off season. To make it even better the Chiefs have Mahomes coming back to lead the team offensively and while he was good last year, he is getting a different supporting cast to hand the ball off to. That case is more experienced and could help out. The defense for the most part is coming back intact to. AFC West Winner Prediction, Kansas City Chiefs
