In Friday night NBA action, the Washington Wizards will travel to the Barclays Center to take on the Brooklyn Nets.
The Wizards have lost three straight games and have gotten off to a disappointing 11-17 start. On Wednesday, Washington forced overtime before falling versus Boston by a 130-125 final score. The Wizards were out rebounded by a 60-50 margin and shot 51 percent from the field in defeat.
John Wall led five Washington players in double figures with 34 points on 14-for-26 shooting and dished out 13 assists. Bradley Beal added 22 points and seven rebounds for the Wizards.
The Brooklyn Nets have lost leading scorer Caris Levert (foot) for an extended period of time and continue to play hard for head coach Kenny Atkinson. On Wednesday, Brooklyn became the first team to defeat Philadelphia on their home floor. The Nets connected on 14-for-28 from long range and managed to hold on down the stretch to score the 127-124 victory.
Spencer Dinwiddie poured in a game high 39 points on 11-for-18 from the floor in just 30 minutes of action. Allen Crabbe chipped in 20 points and five rebounds for the Nets.
