Southeast Division rivals will clash on Friday night, when the Washington Wizards travel to the Spectrum Center to take on the Charlotte Hornets.

The Wizards are ten games below .500 overall and trail Detroit by three games for the final playoff spot in the East. Last time out, Washington was outscored by 16 points during the third quarter of a 129-120 road loss against Toronto. The Wizards turned the ball over 18 times and shot 44 percent from the field.

All-Star G Bradley Beal led Washington with 28 points and 11 assists. Jabari Parker added 22 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Wizards.
The Charlotte Hornets have won 19 of their 28 home games and are currently in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. In their last game, Charlotte was trounced by 35 points during the first half of a 127-89 road loss against Orlando. The Hornets missed 27 of their 31 long range attempts and allowed the Magic to shoot 52 percent overall.

Second year pro Malik Monk tallied a team high 15 points on 17 field goal attempts. Cody Zeller chipped in 13 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort for the Hornets.

Charlotte G Tony Parker is still dealing with a back ailment and will not suit up for this contest. These two teams rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency, so the over is worth a look. The stronger play is on Charlotte to win by double digits. Final Score Prediction, Charlotte Hornets win and cover ATS 122-110.
